Step 1: Activate the integration license in Fortnox
To get started with Fortnox integrations, you will need to have an “Integration License” activated in the Fortnox – Fortnox Support article.
If you already have an integration license, skip to step 2.
To activate your Fortnox Integration license, you will need to do the following:
1. From the Fortnox homepage, click your company name in the top right corner.
2. In the dropdown menu, select Manage users.
3. Click Add license.
Scroll down to Integration and click Add:
Step 2: Activate Fortnox in RecMan
Once you have activated the integration license in Fortnox, open RecMan in your browser and navigate to System Settings → Economy → Invoice export.
On the right side of the screen, find Fortnox and tick off the box to enable Fortnox.
Then select the department you want to connect with Fortnox and press Sign in with Fortnox:
Upon pressing the button, you will be asked to log in to Fortnox (using your Fortnox username and password).
Note
The user who activates the integration must have admin rights in Fortnox in order for the integration to work as intended.
When you have logged in, you will be presented with information about the integration.
Press Godkänn behörighet (Accept permission).
You will then be returned to RecMan, and you should now be able to see that the integration has been activated like this:
