This article presents the RecMan Prospecting or Customer Database (CDB) extra service, explains how to activate it, and shows how to use it in your system!
The prospecting module allows you to search for and assess companies directly within RecMan across four markets: Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland. It offers valuable insights into potential customers, suppliers, and existing companies to support your business, all seamlessly integrated into your current CRM.
Activating prospecting
To activate prospecting, go to the System settings and select Marketplace.
Note
Only users with System Administrator permissions can activate and manage integrations in the Marketplace. All non-Admin users can access and explore Marketplace under the blue Home icon.
Click the blue activation button with the price to begin using prospecting.
You can manage permissions in the Manage access tab. The co-worker who performs the activation receives immediate access. You can choose if integration should be accessible for:
- All departments (global access)
- Specific departments (restrict access to selected departments)
- Specific co-workers (grant access to individual users)
Using prospecting
To access prospecting, hover the CRM icon in the navigation bar and choose prospecting (CDB) at the bottom.
In the prospecting module, you first get an overview of the companies in the list, where you can filter for whether they already exist in the CRM, are added to the pool, and which country to show. By selecting one or multiple companies, you can then click to import to your CRM or add to the pool:
Furthermore, you can find a specific company in the search field or add search criteria to narrow down results. The available search criteria are:
- City
- Business entity
- Contacts
- Established period
- Revenue
- Gazelle companies
- NACE (industries)
- Numbers of employees
- Geolocation
- Profit
- Leader salary

Company pools
You can also add your own selection of companies to a Company pool. This feature can be used to save your searches or to create a leads list for potential customers.
Also, note that a pool initially appears only for you in the system, but you have the option to share it with other RecMan users by accessing the pool and clicking on the settings.
