Setup for integration between RecMan and PowerOffice GO

Create an API key in PowerOffice GO

As an Admin in PowerOffice GO, go to Menu → Settings → Extensions.

  1. Click Add Extension.
  2. Select Custom.
  3. Enter RecMan's Application Key: 29b85f0d-5420-42a5-b6d9-8efd185c3662
  4. Copy Client Key - This is the one you enter in RecMan. See instructions further down in the article.
  5. Press OK.

Activate PowerOffice GO payroll integration and add API key in RecMan

  1. Go to System Settings in RecMan and choose Staffing.
  2. Find Export under the General menu.
  3. Choose department: All.
  4. Check PowerOffice GO closer to the bottom of the list.
  5. Select the department you want to enable for PowerOffice.
  6. Touch Edit on PowerOffice GO and enter the API key that you retrieved from PowerOffice. The procedure is described later in the article.
  7. Press Save.

Set products in RecMan

Here, it is important that you have a correct product layout that matches the settings you have in PowerOffice GO in terms of:

  • Credit account
  • Debit account
  • VAT code

If you already have the product in PowerOffice GO, you also need to set the same product number for this in RecMan. If the product does not already exist in PowerOffice GO, it will be created automatically upon transfer.

Set salary type

It is important that the salary items used in RecMan are set with the correct salary type that matches the salary type in PowerOffice GO. Go to System Settings → Staffing → Salary articles.

Employee number in RecMan and PowerOffice

If you have created employees earlier in PowerOffice, then the employee number from RecMan must be entered in the field External code on the Employee card in PowerOffice.
