Arbetsförmedlingen integration

This article describes integration with Arbetsförmedlingen.

Overview

The Arbetsförmedlingen integration allows you to post job listings directly from RecMan to Sweden’s leading job marketplace. It enables you to streamline your recruitment process by managing job ads, tracking applications, and reaching top talent—all from one platform.

Note

This integration requires an Arbetsförmedlingen account. Please contact the Arbetsförmedlingen consultant and ask for the security code for your Customer number.

How to set up integration

To activate Arbetsförmedlingen integration, go to the System settings and select Marketplace.

Note

The job post will not be published on Arbetsförmedlingen unless a Swedish organization number is listed for the department.

If there are any issues when publishing to this portal, you will receive a message when saving the job post. Repost through the error message, correct the errors, and save again.

When publishing a job post from RecMan’s job post module to Arbetsförmedlingen, you will need to go through several options under Distribution before the post is ready for publishing. Some options are mandatory and marked with *. These are explained in detail below.

  1. When creating a job post, in the Distribution step, click +Add and choose Arbetsförmedlingen.
  2. Select Account* (Customer number) for Arbetsförmedlingen. Note that you can have several accounts in this list; which account appears in the dropdown is controlled via System settings → Marketplace.
  3. Under General, select Type of Position*. Here you can choose between Permanent and Temporary. Note: This will be published on Arbetsförmedlingen as either Permanent or Fixed-term employment. If you wish to describe the position type further, you can write this in the free text field Description that is included in the Arbetsförmedlingen post.
  4. If you want to republish your post, you can use Republish job post. Technically, this means the original post is removed from Arbetsförmedlingen and a new version is published with today’s date as the publish date. You can thus post the post for a new period and continue to use the same application process in RecMan.
  5. To further describe the Type of Position, you can add additional information in the field Type of Position under Availability. Here you can choose between Full-time / Part-time. If you want to explain why the position is full-time or part-time, you can write this in the free text field Description that is sent to Arbetsförmedlingen.
  6. Specify the Professional Category* the post applies to.
  7. Specify the Professional Group* the post applies to.
  8. Select the Profession* for the post.
  9. Under Qualification, specify if experience is required or not.
  10. Under Salary*, specify the type of salary. Options include:

    • Fixed salary – will be shown on Arbetsförmedlingen as Fixed daily, weekly or monthly salary.
    • Fixed salary + Commission.
    • Commission.

To describe the salary type further, you can use the free text field Description to specify more details.

  11. Under Car, indicate whether the position requires access to a car. Note: If you select “Yes,” you must also specify the type of driver’s license required for the job.
  12. Under Job location, provide the workplace’s City*, Address*, and Postal Code*.

Note

When transferring job posts, Arbetsförmedlingen imposes a limit of 6,500 characters. The fields included in this 6,500-character limit are the Job Description as well as the information about the Type of Position, and both description fields and car. A tip is therefore to ensure there is space left after writing the job description to allow for the Type of Position and Car sections.
