This guide is made to understand better the message center page and how to send internal messages in RecMan.
In order to access the message center, press the Messages button next to your profile picture to get redirected. When a new message is received, this will be indicated with a number in red on the button itself.
Navigating to the message center
In the picture below, you can see the overview of the message center. It works as a regular instant messaging app where you can communicate in groups, with co-workers and employees.

While messaging someone, you can click on Details (nr. 1) to view parts of their profile. On the left side, you can write a New Message (nr. 2) or go to Preferences (nr. 3). In Preferences, you can customize the message center with:
- Status to display on your icon;
- Notifications can be off or on;
- Light or dark mode

If you wish to be notified of internal messages, you can set up email notifications in My profile. This function will send you an email within a few minutes if you do not open the message center to view the latest messages.

If you use the tag-name (e.g., @firstnamelastname) of a co-worker from Inquiries and Pipeline, this will be shown as a message in the message center. If you assign a task to a co-worker, this task will be visible as a message in the inbox of the sender as well as the receiver.
