How to create templates

In this article, we will go through the process of how you can create your own templates in RecMan.

Creating a template

System settings

This can only be done by a system administrator or a template administrator.

Go to System settings in the left main menu.

Go to Templates.

Or you can select the Templates submodule directly when hovering over the settings icon.

In the Templates overview, you can choose the type of template to create.

My profile

Everyone can do this, but they will only be visible to you.

Go to My profile in the top menu by clicking on your picture.

Scroll down to the templates.

Templates overview

There are some different settings when creating a template. Here is an explanation for each of them.

Templates

Name: The name of the template. Ex. Candidate presentation.

Corporation: Choose if the template is visible for all or specific corporations.

Subject: Default subject that will be added when using the template.

Message template: You can add an existing message template that will be added automatically when using this template.

Active: Yes or No.

Template

Message templates

Name: The name of the template. Ex. Message to employees.

Subject: Default subject that will be added when using the template.

Corporation: Choose if the template is visible for all or specific corporations.

Usage area: You can set a specific area in the system you want to use this template. Ex. if you only want to use this template when sending invoice emails.

Assign to new co-workers: If set to Yes, this will automatically be added to new co-workers when they are created.

SMS templates

Title: SMS title.

Text: The text you want to send.

Job posting templates

Access them through My profile in the top menu and scroll down to the bottom.

Name: The name of the job template. Ex. General IT Analyst.

Text: The job post description text.
