As a system administrator, you have the ability to choose which portals should be available when posting a job ad at a given time. RecMan-page is enabled by default. Please be aware that you are simply making the portals available; you are not automatically publishing to all the enabled portals.

Note

Most job board websites have a cost associated with their use. You, as the customer, are solely responsible for those costs and complying with the conditions.

When clicking +Add on a job post portal, you will often be asked to input some information. For instance, from Finn.no, you will be asked to input a Partner ID; at Monster, you will be asked for a username and password. This information is given directly from the portal and is not something RecMan creates for you.

Note

Even though you may add some portals without inputting information, every single one of them requires an agreement to be in place before using their portal.

The integration between the different portals is unique and may function in different ways. Some portals are fully integrated with RecMan, meaning any job ad posted is automatically added to the portal. At the same time, others have more straightforward integration, meaning an email is sent from the system to the portal, and the job post is created on their portal manually.

Portals with full integration

Finn.no

To learn more about this integration, we invite you to read this article.

AMS

To publish to AMS, you need to have two things in place. First of all, you need to contact AMS directly and receive a customer ID from them. For instance: 20789394. It is then added to RecMan.

It is also important to keep in mind that the department you are posting from has a Swedish organizational number. For instance: 46-595857-6758. Please note that the “46” at the beginning may not be included in the original organizational number; it has to be added.

Note

The job post will not be posted on AMS unless the Swedish organization is in place.

Should there be any other issues when posting to this portal, you will be notified upon saving the job post. Read the error message and change the required, and save again.

Google Jobs

Google for Jobs allows users to publish job posts that are being indexed by Google. Once activated, the publishing process includes validation for key fields like location and salary, which are required for indexing. Both required and recommended fields are highlighted to improve the chances of the job appearing in Google Jobs search results.

After filling in the necessary details and publishing the post, the system uses Google’s Indexing API to notify Google. Initially, a tooltip will show the job is pending indexing. Once successfully indexed, the status updates, confirming the job is live on Google Jobs.

This feature simplifies the process while maximizing visibility by ensuring critical details are included.

Portals where emails are used

When you publish to the portals below, the system will send an email to the portal. Once received, an employee at the portal will manually post the job ad on their portal. This means that publishing to these portals may take some more time before they are actually published. The changes and deletions are also done manually and will not happen instantly.

  • Nav.no – Email is sent to stilling@nav.no
  • DN.no – Email is sent to dnjobb@dn.no
  • Jobindex.dk – Email is sent to annoncer@jobinex.dk
  • Bygg.no – Email is sent to orb@bygg.no and jen@bygg.no
