When you paste mScript in a template, it mustn’t include any invisible formatting. If you have copied the script straight from the Knowledge base or another template, it may contain additional unwanted text formatting even if it is not visible.
To avoid this, it is wise to paste the text into a simple word processor, for example, Notepad on Windows or TextEdit on Mac, and then copy it from here into your template. If you’re on Mac, you can also press shift + cmd + V to paste plain text directly.
When using mScript, it is essential to consider how the information can be retrieved. If, for example, you try to send a job confirmation directly from the candidate card, which includes information about wages and working hours, this will not work. This is because the job is associated with the project. A candidate may have several jobs, so the system cannot infer which of the jobs you are referring to.
In this example, to send the job confirmation agreement, you should send it from the project card, as the system then can infer which job you want to fetch the information from in the mScript.
