This article describes the Tusdatos integration for background checks in Colombia.
Overview
Tusdatos background checks are integrated into the recruitment pipeline, providing streamlined verification for candidates in the Colombian market.
How to set up integration
To activate Tusdatos integration, go to the System settings and select Marketplace.
Note
Only users with System Administrator permissions can access the Marketplace.
Click the activate button to begin using the Tusdatos integration.
The next step is to choose if Tusdatos should be accessible for:
- All Departments (global access)
- Specific Departments (restricted access)
How to use Tusdatos
Open the Recruitment module and choose your project.
Next, set Tusdatos as an automation on any pipeline step. Access the Recruitment project settings and choose Pipeline steps. Then select the background check with Tusdatos for the chosen step. In the example below, we add it to the Second interview step in the Finances project settings.
Identification
Enter the candidate's Identification number (Cédula de Ciudadanía) in their drawer. Background checks are limited to individuals with Colombian IDs.
Once configured, moving a candidate to the designated pipeline step will automatically trigger the Tusdatos check.
When Tusdatos has completed the check, a status will appear on the candidate card. It can be Not defined, Declined or Approved. After clicking this tag, you will see a status and a report in PDF format. You can change the status manually if needed.
