This article explains how to activate and use the credit check and monitoring integration.
RecMan offers integration with Creditsafe for credit checks and monitoring.
Creditsafe is a global credit reporting company that helps businesses assess financial risk, evaluate creditworthiness, monitor rating changes and bankruptcies and make safer decisions about organizations.
How to activate credit check & monitoring
To activate credit check, go to the System settings and select Marketplace.
Note
Only users with System Administrator permissions can activate and manage integrations in the Marketplace. All non-Admin users can access and explore Marketplace under the blue Home icon.
Click the blue activation button to begin using the credit check.
Pricing
- 20 NOK per 1 credit check of 1 company
- 5 NOK per 1 month for active monitoring of 1 company
You can manage permissions in the Manage access tab. The co-worker who performs the activation receives immediate access. You can choose if integration should be accessible for:
- All departments (global access)
- Specific departments (restrict access to selected departments)
- Specific co-workers (grant access to individual users)
Activating a credit check for co-workers does not incur any costs on its own. The costs apply only to each company for which a credit check is performed and to continuous monitoring. As for staying in the loop on monitoring, the associated co-worker will receive a notification in RecMan whenever a notable event triggers an update to the credit check. This will be recorded in the notification module.
Credit check on the existing company
To carry out a credit check on a company, go to the desired company in CRM:
- Tap the credit check icon at the top right of the company card.

When the credit check has been completed, you will find out which credit score the customer has; this follows international standards A-E and 0-99, where A-99 is the strongest and E-1 is the weakest. Furthermore, you can see the recommended credit limit and when the credit check was updated.
- When you make a credit check, the company is also added to monitoring automatically. When monitoring, credit checks will be automatically updated in the background. To stop monitoring, press Stop.
Credit rating on the invoices
The same credit rating information will also be visible in the invoice overview in RecMan when you press the arrow next to the invoice number.
Credit score in CRM
In addition to seeing the credit score on the company card and the invoice overview, you can also see the score in the CRM. Hover over the letter score to view the rating details.
To get an overview of the companies you monitor, use the Credit monitoring filter.
To conduct credit checks or activate/deactivate credit monitoring for multiple companies at once, tick off the companies and click on the corresponding icons, as illustrated below:
Report
After completing the credit check, you can also access a detailed report.
From the company card, it can be retrieved by clicking on the PDF icon:
From the invoice overview, you can also retrieve the same report:
Example of a credit report
In the picture below, you can see the first page of the report. Additionally, it provides details such as key figures, ratios, accounting, payment history, shareholders, etc.
Error message
If the company does not exist due to an incorrect org number or, for other reasons, cannot be credit-checked, the appropriate error message will be displayed.
