Creating and editing a contact person

How to add or edit contact person(s) to a company in RecMan.

Adding a contact person

Adding a contact person can be done from the company card. Go to a company card by either searching in the master search bar (1), looking up a company from the CRM database (2), or by creating a new company in RecMan(3).

To create a new contact person or view an existing one, press the contact persons icon (4) in the layout to open the view, then press the +Create (5) to add a new contact.

Creating a contact person allows you to provide thorough details. While Name is the only required field, the more details, the better. 

  • Email: Allows to send the contact person such as offers, and candidate presentations directly from RecMan
  • Phone: Makes it easy to send SMS from RecMan and approachable contact information
  • Title: Helps identify the specific contact for the right inquiries 
  • Notes: Allow the inclusion of additional necessary information
  • Social media: Connect their social media accounts
  • Department: Connect the contact to a department in RecMan, by default, it is set to the user's department but is changeable
  • Newsletter: Filter option for the contact persons module, which can send email, SMS, forms, or extract a list to Excel
  • Quit: allows the data to remain and sets the contact as inactive. It is used when a contact leaves or is no longer a contact point; data remains but is inactive.

Editing a contact person

Editing a contact person on the company card can be done by pressing the pen symbol, which also gives the possibility to add Images or profile pictures, which will also be displayed in the contact person module. The Contact Persons module lets you get an overview and sort of all contact persons.

Tip

Contact persons who are connected to staffing projects might benefit from The customer portal by setting them as a work approver in the CRM, this can also be used for booking shifts as a customer.
