Setup for staffing settings

Using RecMan as a staffing solution.

The staffing of RecMan affects more than just the hiring of personnel. When talking about staffing, we can instead look at this as employment, salaries and logging of hours. Regardless of whether you use RecMan for HR with or without time logging or internal time management for project management and consulting, the settings here are essential.

Therefore, the layout of this article focuses on everything that applies to the above scenario. Depending on what you will use RecMan for, some of the descriptions here may be irrelevant to you. However, it is desirable that you go through everything to get to know the system settings, as well as to be able to decide what is relevant and what is not.

It is expected that you have already considered the following before moving on in this article.

Setup

CRM

Settings for CRM do not mean much, but here, you can adapt how the CRM should work in practice. This is mostly about custom fields (attributes) for companies and contacts, rights for hour approvers (contact person with login), settings that can help increase work efficiency and adding and removing fields to get a customer card that is limited/extended to their application.

For more information on settings and setup, see CRM.

Candidates

As for settings for candidates, there is a bit of a cross-cutting based on the use of RecMan. This deals with available fields, custom categorizations (attributes) and settings for efficient work.

For more information on settings and layouts, see Candidates.

Projects

Similarly, as settings for CRM and Candidates, what applies to Projects is very relevant for fields, categorizations (attributes) and streamlining of work.

For more information on settings and setup, see Projects.

Staffing

You probably reviewed it briefly when economy settings were set up. For information, it will not be possible to get much further with RecMan as a staffing solution until the economy settings have been reviewed. Otherwise, this involves adapting RecMan at a detailed level to take care of what you need in your operational processes. A round with a consultant is highly recommended when it comes to these settings.

For more information on settings and setup, see Staffing.

RecMan Employee

Where you use RecMan for logging hours, we recommend you look at our self-developed app. Although you have the opportunity to register hours when you are logged in to the RecMan-page as an employee, the experience of timekeeping is different in RecMan Employee. Should you need more information regarding this, please contact us.

For more information on settings and setup, see the RecMan Employee website.
