In this article, you may find out how to change some settings related to candidates in RecMan.

The Candidate settings (System settings → Candidates) have several options. In this article, we will go through them one by one.

General permissions

Candidate attributes

Candidate attributes are custom data fields that may be connected to candidates in RecMan. This allows specific filtering. An attribute can be applied to a candidate; however, it also works as a question for the candidate to answer. This means that you can share it with all your candidates, and they will be prompted with these attribute questions when they log into their profiles. Once answered, the attribute will be connected to their candidate card. Here is a dedicated article.

Attribute groups

An attribute group is a group where you can have several attributes. Let’s say you have an attribute group called Programmer; it would make sense for this group to contain attributes related to this.

The attributes group has one use in the system. Once created, the attribute groups will be available when you create a job post. Here, you can add an attribute instead of every single attribute. This means that any candidate applying for the position will get prompted for the attribute questions. This can be very helpful when finding the perfect candidate.

Presentations

The Presentations option lets you change the default of what information should be included in a candidate presentation. You may switch the toggles here to change which sections to include by default when creating a new presentation. Please note that you can always disregard this default when creating your presentation.

Candidate card

Here, you can control which fields are visible on the candidate and employee card and set default values for selected fields (e.g., country codes, standard inputs). First, you choose your corporation, which means you can have individual settings for each corporation. With a switch toggle, you can add and remove various fields:

Section Example fields
Work Terms HPR number, Working hours, Alternative salary article, Guarantee salary
Identity & Banking IBAN, Construction card, D-Number
Position & Status Seniority, Employment condition, Subcontractor
Schedule & Time Worktime week-limit, Working scheme, Hours a week
Payroll & Taxes Default salary, Tax number, Pension
Legal & Documents Permit to work/stay, Certificate of good conduct, Collective agreements

By default, all these fields appear under the employee information. If you want to hide some fields, enable only the fields relevant to your corporation, and the disabled ones will disappear from the Employee card.

Custom fields

Available in the new version of RecMan.

Here you can activate custom fields for candidates or employees to be used in the recruitment module or in the employee calendar. You get to choose a unique set of custom fields for each department. The availability option (for All, Employees or Candidates) is currently under development.

Teams

The Teams feature allows you to create, define, and manage teams across your corporation or department. This enables better workforce organization and simplifies various management tasks.

After being created in the Candidate settings teams will be available for use in the Employee calendar. An employee can belong to one or multiple teams. You can specify this under General info in the Employee drawer. Team filtering is also available in the Jobs module for better search across different data levels.
