Xledger API (Integration setup)

Connect RecMan & Xledger with API key

To get started with the integration, you first need to retrieve an API key from Xledger, which is then entered into RecMan. The instructions below show this step by step.

Create an API key in Xledger

  1. Once logged in as an administrator in Xledger, go to Administration in the main menu.
  2. Select Access Control.
  3. Select GraphQL.
  4. Press API tokens and then the green Generate new token button.
  5. Give the API key a name, e.g., RecMan.
  6. Choose Select all on Read and Write.
  7. Then press Generate token to get the API key. Copy this token to take with you to RecMan. See steps further down here.

Enable Xledger API integration and add the API key to RecMan

  1. In RecMan, go to System settingsEconomyInvoice export.
  2. Scroll down and select Xledger API.
  3. Select the department to which you want to create the integration.
  4. Paste the API key from Xledger and press Save.
  5. Then choose a Transfer Method – whether you want to export Orders (if you invoice from Xledger) or Invoice (if you invoice from RecMan and only use Xledger for bookkeeping).

Set products in RecMan

To get a correct transfer to Xledger, you need to set up products in RecMan so that they correspond to the setup in Xledger.

Go to Products under the Economy module.

It is important to keep in mind that you enter the correct Credit and Debit account and VAT code.
