This article describes authentication with Vipps.
Overview
Vipps authentication allows users, candidates, and customers to identify themselves using Vipps. The authentication method can be used in the following cases:
- Candidate registration
- Candidate login
- User login
- Authentication when receiving a candidate presentation
- Authentication when receiving a form
How to set up Vipps authentication
To activate Vipps authentication, go to the System settings and select Marketplace.
Note
Only users with System Administrator permissions can activate and manage integrations in the Marketplace. All non-Admin users can access and explore Marketplace under the blue Home icon.
Click the blue activation button with the price to begin using the Vipps authentication.
How to use Vipps authentication
If you wish to allow candidates to sign up/sign in using Vipps, first activate this option in your corporation settings.
The Vipps icon will appear as one of the multiple authentication options.
Afterward, the user is redirected to Vipps and is requested to enter the phone number associated with their Vipps account.
