This article describes integration with Master HR.
Overview
With the Master HR integration, you can easily send tests to candidates and get the results back into RecMan. Tests can be sent to selected candidates in your recruitment pipeline, or you could set it up as pipeline automation, meaning all you have to do is move the candidate to the appropriate pipeline step, and RecMan and Master HR will take care of the rest.
Note
This integration requires a Master HR account. Please contact your Master HR account manager, and ask for the API key.
How to set up the integration
To activate Master HR integration go to the System settings and select Marketplace.
Note
Only users with System Administrator permission can access the Marketplace.
Click the activate button to begin using the Master HR integration.
Add your credentials: Enter your Master HR API key provided by Master HR support. Name this key, and with a switch bar button choose if the API key should be accessible for:
- All Departments (global access).
- Specific Departments (restrict access to selected departments).
Press the Create button to save your API key settings.
You will be able to manage your keys in the Credentials tab.
Set up templates in Master HR
Previously, assessments were added in the Master HR account and used in RecMan projects. Now, we will use the templates in Master HR to create new assessments for your recruitment project in RecMan. Access your Master HR account in order to create new templates that include all the assessments and criteria you need.
When sending out the first assessment invitation from your RecMan project, a new assessment project will be created in Master HR, and all other invitations will also be added to the same project.
How to use the Master HR tool
Access the Recruitment module and select your project. Then access project settings under the dropdown menu → Assessments → Master HR.
If it doesn't appear on the list, reach out to your System Admin, and they will check all the configurations.
Add the specific templates you intend to use for candidate evaluations. Going back to your recruitment pipeline, you should be able to select candidates in order to send them a test invitation. Or, you can configure a pipeline automation to send it as you process candidates.
Configure pipeline steps: In the same Recruitment project settings choose Pipeline steps. Then select the desired Master HR test for the chosen step. In the example below, we add the "ACE template" test to the Assessment step in the Finances project settings.
Automate candidate assessments: Once configured, moving a candidate to this pipeline step will automatically trigger and send a Master HR test invitation directly to the candidate. The results will be available in RecMan once completed.
