This article describes integration with Assessio.
Overview
With the Assessio integration, you can easily send tests to candidates and get the results back into RecMan. This can be set up with automation, meaning all you have to do is move the candidate to the appropriate pipeline step, and RecMan and Assessio will take care of the rest.
Note
This integration requires an Assessio account. Please contact the Assessio support team and ask for the API key. They will generate the key in the back office and then send it via a secure process you define.
How to set up integration
To activate Assessio integration go to the System settings and select Marketplace.
Note
Only users with System Administrator permissions can access the Marketplace.
Click the activate button to begin using the Assessio integration.
Add your API key: Enter your Assessio API key provided by Assessio support. Name this key and with a switch bar button choose if the API key should be accessible for:
- All Departments (global access).
- Specific Departments (restrict access to selected departments).
Press the Create button to save your API key settings.
You will be able to manage your keys in the Credentials tab.
Set up lenses in Assessio
Log in to your Assessio account to add existing lenses or create new ones with all the necessary criteria. You can find them under Lens Management in the Lens Library or Lens Maker.
If you create a new lens, please make sure that you select the first option, "Make this lens immediately available to your organization," in step 5.
How to use the Assessio tool
Access the Recruitment module and select your project. Then access project settings under the dropdown menu → Assessments → Assessio.
If it doesn't appear on the list, reach out to your System Admin and they will check all the configurations.
Add the specific test(s) you intend to use for candidate evaluations.
Configure pipeline steps: In the same Recruitment project settings choose Pipeline steps. Then select the desired Assessio test for the chosen step. In the example below, we add the "IT Leadership" test to the First interview step in the Development project settings.
Automate candidate assessments: Once configured, moving a candidate to this pipeline step will automatically trigger the Assessio test and send it directly to the candidate.
If you wish to modify this standard email from Assessio, go to Assessio platform → Settings → Recruitment settings and scroll down to Candidate emails.
Once the test has been sent to the candidate, it will also be added to a project in Assessio, visible under Recruitment. The title of the job will consist of the name of the recruitment project in RecMan and the name of the lens. You will also see how complete the assessment is.
When the candidate has completed the test, a score will appear on the candidate card. Once clicked, you will get two links where you can find out more information about the score.
The first link redirects to the assessment feedback, and the second one opens the project in the Assessio platform.
