Sender Policy Framework

This serves as a validation for your emails so they won’t end up in the receiver’s spam filter. As an example, we can take a look at the images below, where we use example.no as a domain. That means that when you send an email from RecMan, those emails will be authorized to be sent from this domain. To set up SPF in RecMan, our IP addresses must be added to your domain. Usually, this is done by the provider of your domain.

Give this to your domain provider: spf.recman.no

In the system settings, we have made a tester that makes it possible for you to check if your SPF is working correctly.

To test your SPF record easily:

  1. Press Add.
  2. Enter your domain in the Domain field.
  3. Press the green Add.

Then, the record will be added, and you can see its status.

It may take a few minutes for you to add it to the status that shows up the first time, as it needs to be scanned first.
