In this article, you may find out how to change some settings related to candidates in RecMan.

The Candidate settings (System Settings → Candidates) have several options. In this article, we will go through them one by one.

Candidate attributes

Candidate attributes are custom data fields that may be connected to candidates in RecMan. This allows specific filtering. An attribute can be applied to a candidate; however, it also works as a question for the candidate to answer. This means that you can share it with all your candidates, and they will be prompted with these attribute questions when they log into their profiles. Once answered, the attribute will be connected to their candidate card. Here is a dedicated article.

Attribute groups

An attribute group is a group where you can have several attributes. Let’s say you have an attribute group called Programmer; it would make sense for this group to contain attributes related to this.

The attributes group has one use in the system. Once created, the attribute groups will be available when you create a job post. Here, you can add an attribute instead of every single attribute. This means that any candidate applying for the position will get prompted for the attribute questions. This can be very helpful when finding the perfect candidate.

Presentations

The Presentations option lets you change the default of what information should be included in a candidate presentation. You may check or uncheck the boxes here to change which boxes are checked by default when creating a new presentation. Please note that you will always be able to disregard this default when actually creating your presentation.

Candidate card

Here, you can choose to add or remove some boxes on the candidate and employee card. Once clicked, you choose your corporation, which means you can have individual settings for each corporation. In the top box, you have the option to add and remove some fields on the candidate card:

  • HPR number – This shows the box for HPR number lookup and check.
  • Working hours – This allows you to set standard working hours for the candidate.
  • Alternative salary art – Lets you set a standard alternative salary article for the candidate.
  • Guarantee salary – Lets you set a standard guarantee salary for the candidate.

The second box has several boxes, each indicating an Employee field. These will only be available once a candidate has been Approved For Staffing. By default, all these fields appear under the employee information. If you want to hide some fields, just check any boxes that are relevant to your corporation, and the unchecked ones will disappear from the Employee settings.

Default values

Once you click this, you get the option to choose a corporation, enabling you to keep a unique set of settings for each corporation.

When you Approve a candidate for Staffing, you get a whole new set of options. You can pre-define these options here, and each set corresponds with a setting on the employee card. Please note that this will only affect employees Approved for Staffing after doing the change; this will not change the values of existing employees.

After being created in the Candidate settings teams will be available for use in the Employee calendar. An employee can belong to one or multiple teams.
