In this article, you can read about the Job Post settings available in RecMan.
You find the Job post settings by going to System Settings → Job postings. Once selected, you can see that you have the ability to choose which department you wish to change the settings for. This allows you to have a separate set of settings for each of your departments.
Job post ingress
Here, you may input a text. This text may be about your company in general or specifically about the department you are posting from. This text will appear by default when creating a new job post.
External portals
RecMan is integrated with several external job post portals. Some of these portals are wholly integrated, meaning the portal and RecMan communicate, allowing you to quickly and reliably post, edit and delete job posts (Finn.no, Offshore, Monster). Others are integrated by email, meaning the system sends an email to the portal, and they publish it manually. This also means that changes and deletions are done manually and will not happen instantly.
As a system administrator, you have the ability to choose which portals should be available at a given time. Two portals are enabled by default: RecMan-page and Jobreg. Please note that you are simply making the portals available; you are not automatically publishing to all the enabled portals.
If you wish to enable a new job posting portal, you will have to contact the company responsible and make an agreement with them. Once this is done, you should ask for the information RecMan asks for when clicking +Add on the portal in question. For instance, Monster requires a username and a password, which are supplied by Monster themselves. Always inform the company of the portal who is your supplier (which is RecMan), and they should know what information to give you.
