This article contains information on how to manage departments from System Settings and how to create and edit them.

Navigate through System SettingsDepartments. Following these steps will give you a similar view to the picture above, where the numbered buttons are described below.

  1. When creating a department, all relevant information can be entered in the appearing window. Note that a department must be connected to a corporation to make the appropriate connections in the hierarchy (see System Architecture for more information). Click on Save to create the department.
    The information added here is what will be displayed on invoices, etc.
  2. By clicking this button, you can upload the department logo. This is the logo that will be visible in the top left corner of RecMan for co-workers connected to this department.
  3. Clicking this button allows you to edit the selected department. If you have entered any wrong credentials or want to change information in the future, you may do so here.

Due to the system's architecture, deleting a department has some implications. Therefore, you do not have the opportunity to do this yourself, and assistance from a technique must, therefore, be ordered to be able to carry out such handling. Do not create new departments unless you know what you are doing.
